Newt’s love for romance novels began when she stumbled upon her aunt’s stash of Harlequins when she was 10 years old. This sparked a lifelong love for the genre.  

 

Newt has  a degree in pre-18th century English Literature from Cornell University. Newt recognized early on, however, that Milton, Chaucer and Shakespeare could not compete with the satisfying HEA of a good romance novel. 

 

Newt enjoys writing romance with a touch of adventure with spirited heroines who can wield a sword, sail a ship, or aim a crossbow.

Newt also has a collection of manual typewriters and rotates through them when writing.

 

Newt is currently working on her debut Historical Romance novel.
